| Job responsibilities | Execute and supervise mechanical maintenance tasks ensuring quality and timely completion as per plan. Mobilize resources for day-to-day and shutdown mechanical maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with procedures, best practices, and HSEF standards. Assist discipline manager in identifying spares for procurement. Prepare and monitor mechanical maintenance budget, analyze costs, and ensure budgetary control. Prepare audit-related documents and ensure adherence to audit schedules. Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) as a team member. Collate performance data for monitoring, reporting, and KPI preparation. Manage contractors and participate in reliability and integrity studies. Implement recommendations from studies and audits. Coordinate preservation activities and repair jobs in workshops. Maintain knowledge management activities for self and subordinates. Ensure accurate and timely SAP-PM and SAP-MM entries, validations, and analysis. Facilitate and support minor projects and LLF activities. Ensure pending jobs are entered into SAP-PM and executed on time. Control inventory of mechanical spares to avoid shortages. Maintain IMS documents for mechanical maintenance. Minimize production/quality loss during unplanned failures. Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements. |
| Qualification & Experience | Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering with minimum 7 years’ experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with minimum 2 years’ experience in plant maintenance |
