| Key Responsibilities | – Act as primary SQL Server DBA SME for operate/managed services projects- Administer MS SQL Server (On-Prem, AWS RDS, Azure SQL DB, Azure Managed Instance)- Ensure HA/DR using Always On AGs, Clustering, Log Shipping, Mirroring- Monitor performance, capacity, and health; proactive tuning- Manage database security, encryption, auditing, and compliance- Automate DBA tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, runbooks- Incident handling, RCA, and preventive actions- Support migrations, upgrades, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation- Mentor junior DBAs and operations staff |
