| Role Overview | Build robust, scalable backend applications and platforms, design high-level modules, drive problem-solving, mentor team members, and collaborate with product managers and stakeholders. |
| Key Responsibilities | – Build scalable web-based applications with clear abstractions and separation of concerns- High-level design, functional modeling, incremental architectural improvements- Performance tuning for large-scale distributed systems- Lead execution of medium-sized projects- Mentor junior engineers and foster team collaboration- Collaborate with Product Managers to derive feature capabilities |
| Required Skills & Experience | – 5+ years of experience in backend development- Expertise in Java, C, or C++ with strong OOP and design pattern knowledge- Multi-threading and concurrency programming- Experience with Test-Driven Development, databases (MySQL, NoSQL: HBase, Elasticsearch, Aerospike)- Full lifecycle development experience on Linux- Strong problem-solving, coding, and analytical skills- Experience in high-scale, distributed systems and startup-like environments |
