SSB Head Constable Recruitment 2026: The Office of the Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has issued a recruitment notification for Head Constable posts in various trades. The notification has been published in Employment News (21–27 March 2026) and online applications have been invited from eligible candidates for a total of 233 vacancies. Educational Qualification
- Head Constable (Steward): 12th pass with Diploma in Catering & Kitchen Management and 1 year experience
- Head Constable (Communication): 12th pass with Science (PCM) and Diploma in Electronics / Communications / Computer Science / Information Technology
- Head Constable (Electrician):
- 10th pass with 2 years experience, or
- 1 year ITI in Electrician trade with 1 year experience, or
- 2 years ITI in Electrician trade
- Head Constable (Veterinary): 12th pass with Science and 2 years Diploma in Veterinary & Livestock Development / Veterinary Stock Assistant Course / Animal Husbandry Course
