Primary ObjectivePerform financial due diligence, analyze target companies, identify financial risks and opportunities, and support clients throughout M&A transactions.
Business UnderstandingDevelop a comprehensive understanding of target businesses, operations, financial performance, and value drivers.
Financial AnalysisAnalyze financial statements, assess data quality, identify trends, risks, anomalies, and key financial issues.
Data ValidationReview financial information for accuracy and reasonableness, coordinate directly with clients and third parties to resolve discrepancies.
Research & AnalysisInterpret and evaluate publicly available information related to target businesses and industries.
DeliverablesPrepare high-quality Excel models, PowerPoint presentations, financial reports, and due diligence reports within project timelines.
Issue IdentificationIdentify key transaction risks and communicate findings promptly to Managers and engagement teams.
Transaction ExposureWork on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions across multiple industry sectors.
Client InteractionBuild strong relationships with clients and represent Deloitte during due diligence engagements.
Business DevelopmentSupport proposal preparation and business development initiatives.
Accounting StandardsStrong knowledge of Indian GAAP; IFRS knowledge is an added advantage.
