| Role Overview | Design, configure, and deliver end-to-end SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) solutions with a strong focus on financial processes, performance management, SAP architecture, S/4HANA, and HANA environments. |
| Business Analysis | Work with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable SAP PaPM solutions. |
| SAP PaPM Configuration | Configure PaPM models, including allocation logic, process flows, calculations, and business rules. |
| Data Modelling & Integration | Perform data modelling and integrate SAP PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW, and third-party systems. |
| HANA Skills | Develop high-performance logic using HANA capabilities, including HANA modelling and SQLScript. |
| Technical Delivery | Translate business performance requirements into technical specifications and deliver optimised PaPM applications. |
| Implementation Lifecycle | Participate in blueprinting, prototyping, testing, deployment, and hypercare support. |
| Documentation | Prepare and maintain functional specifications, solution architecture documents, technical documentation, and user manuals. |
| Training | Assist in preparing and delivering training materials for end-users and key business users. |
| Cross-Functional Collaboration | Work with SAP FI/CO, BW, SAC, IT operations, and other teams to ensure effective solution delivery. |
| Post-Go-Live Support | Provide ongoing support, enhancements, managed services, and AMS activities after implementation. |
| Client Management | Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on SAP PaPM-related topics. |
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are an advantage. |
| SAP PaPM Experience | 6–9 years of hands-on SAP PaPM implementation experience, including at least one complete end-to-end project. |
| Financial Knowledge | Strong understanding of profitability analysis, cost allocations, performance modelling, and financial planning concepts. |
| Technical Skills | HANA Modelling, SQLScript, SAP integration, and integration with non-SAP data sources. |
| SAP Ecosystem | Familiarity with SAP FICO, BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics tools. |
| Analytical Skills | Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. |
| Communication Skills | Ability to clearly communicate and document technical and functional concepts for both business and technical audiences. |
| Stakeholder Management | Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills. |
| Travel | Willingness to travel based on project requirements. |
| Preferred Certification | SAP PaPM certification is a strong advantage. |
| Additional Skills | Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BPC, or Group Reporting. |
| Methodology | Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred. |
| Industry Experience | Financial Services, Manufacturing, Utilities, or Telecom experience is advantageous. |
| Ideal Candidate | An experienced SAP PaPM professional with strong finance-domain knowledge, HANA/SQLScript expertise, end-to-end implementation experience, and strong stakeholder-management capabilities. |
