Educational Qualification Details

Pay Scale Details
- Candidates selected for the POWERGRID Engineer Trainee posts will receive a basic pay of Rs. 40,000 per month during the one-year training period. In addition to basic pay, they will be eligible for Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other perks amounting to 12% of their basic pay. The approximate annual Cost to Company (CTC) during training will be Rs. 11 lakh.
- After successfully completing the training, candidates will be appointed as Engineers in the E2 pay scale of Rs. 50,000–3%–Rs. 1,60,000 (IDA). The approximate annual CTC after training will be Rs. 22.50 lakh.
- Selected candidates will also have to sign a service bond to serve POWERGRID for three years after completing their training. The bond amount will be Rs. 5 lakh for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST and PwBD candidates will have to pay Rs. 2.50 lakh.
