| Job Responsibilities: | Amazon India Ads is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (Sr. SDE) to build innovative, scalable, and low-latency solutions for digital advertising. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale systems powering recommendations, ads ranking, personalization, and search, contributing to the growth of a strategic business within Amazon from the ground up. You will work on Big Data technologies including AWS, Spark, Hive, Lucene/SOLR, and Elasticsearch, while shaping the technology strategy for India Advertising. |
| Qualification | Experience across the full software development life cycle, including code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. |
| Experience | 5+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years of programming in at least one software language. 5+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems (reliability and scaling). Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead. |
| Skills | Proven track record leading the development of scalable, multi-tier web services. Strong knowledge of software development life cycle, including code reviews, testing, and deployment. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders. |
