Job Purpose:

As a Relationship Manager in the Agri Banking vertical, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing Agri SME clients, driving sales of financial products, and ensuring the smooth execution of marketing and sales activities. You will also be involved in client relationship management, performing due diligence, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new Agri SME clients through direct marketing and branch banking channels, minimizing third-party sourcing.
  • Execute marketing activities aimed at lead generation and sales growth.
  • Perform initial due diligence and assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
  • Follow up on sales inquiries via telephone and personal visits, converting prospects into customers.
  • Engage with clients for document execution and ensure the completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Meet assigned monthly disbursement targets at the desired Interest Rate of Return (IRR).
  • Increase customer awareness through calls and personal visits for collections.

Non-Financial Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the clearance of pending files to ensure smooth loan sanction and disbursement within defined Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Monitor accounts regularly for early warning signs and take necessary action to prevent issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and satisfaction.

Compliance & Risk Responsibilities:

  • Verify the authenticity of KYC and financial documents through Original Seen and Verified (OSV) checks.
  • Handle early delinquency and non-starter cases, taking timely action.
  • Report any adverse information regarding clients to the management promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and resolve pending documentation (PDD & OTC) in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation or Post-Graduation in any field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in working capital sales, preferably in Agri Banking.

Functional Competencies:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of the local geography (Latur and surrounding areas).
  • Basic understanding of financial products and services.
