Bajaj Finance Ltd. As part of it’s Payments strategy wants to enter into the space of EDC Acquiring. The EDC Acquiring Sales Manager will be required to build the business grounds up for his/her defined territory, by hiring and putting the entire team in place, and then managing the execution of the EDC deployment, transactions & GMV. He/ She will also be responsible for driving various VAS on EDC, keeping the accounts clean and managing P&L for his territory’s business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the EDC Acquiring Sales team from scratch (manage outsource FOSs)
  • Drive execution of the EDC acquiring strategy on filed in line with company’s overall Payments strategy
  • Delivering on number targets (acquiring, transactions, cross sell and GMV)
  • Key Decisions / Dimensions
  • Hiring, training and retaining the team
  • Drive Sales review rigour and deliverables
  • Optimizing costs and driving productivity gains

Major Challenges:

  • Delivering the proof of concept of the EDC Acquiring business to the company (since it is a new venture for the company)
  • Ensuring right hiring, continuous training and low attrition of the team (FOS)
  • Deliver on the various Targets set by the business
  • Ensuring seamless alliance with internal & external stakeholders


  • MBA / Bachelors with a minimum 3 years of Sales experience

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of Sales experience, preferably with 2 year in EDC acquiring
  • Experience of handling large outsourced teams
  • Experience of handling merchant and stakeholder relationships directly in the past
  • Strong bias for action & driving results in a high-performance environment.
  • Exceptionally high motivation levels and needs to be a self-starter
