Job Purpose:
The Debt Management Specialist will manage and coordinate the recovery of overdue payments on loans or credit accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve collections targets by visiting customers/agencies.
- Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.
- Ensure compliance with legal guidelines during repossession of products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.
- Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
- Manage Daily Risk Reports (DRR).
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
- Perform case-by-case tracking and resolve issues within agreed timelines.
- Oversee portfolio management and debt collection strategy.
- Ensure achievement of targets as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
- Conduct reporting and analysis of collection activities.
- Mitigate risks and manage escalations efficiently.
