Job Purpose:
To assist the organization in fraud prevention and loss reduction through effective audits and gap identification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Audit:
- Conduct audits at regional branches and assist the team in audit procedures.
- Perform surprise audits and exit audits prior to employee departures.
- Manage administrative tasks related to branches.
- Support HR in recruitment efforts and conduct re-audits for secondary verification.
- Training:
- Deliver training programs for branch staff on relevant issues.
- Educate employees on organizational rules and regulations.
- Train staff to identify counterfeit or low-quality gold and industry best practices.
- Reports & Analytics:
- Provide insights to senior management during reviews.
- Conduct monthly team reviews.
- Perform market analysis for new product identification and competitor analysis.
- Review team reports for accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
- Team Management:
- Participate in the recruitment process to identify suitable talent.
- Identify high-potential team members and provide grooming opportunities.
- Offer ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Set targets, train, and motivate the team to foster a collaborative work environment.
Key Decisions:
- Determine appropriate actions in response to police or theft cases.
- Approve FMR for submission to RBI.
Challenges:
- Managing a high volume of fraud cases complicating the verification of gold item purity.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation in any stream.
- Experience: 6 – 8 years of work experience in the audit department of a finance company.
