RBI has extended last date for recruitment of candidates to the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC). The last date for submitting the application has been extended up to 05:30 PM on November 14, 2024. All the other conditions and eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification dated October 04, 2024 will remain unchanged.
As per the official notification for RBI Recruitment 2024, there is only one vacancy available for this role. Applicants must be graduates of an allopathic medical school with an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India. To be eligible, applicants must reside or have a clinic/dispensary within a 3 to 5 km radius of the RBI office at the address listed below.
The appointment will be made on a contractual basis for an initial period of 3 years. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for an interview, with the final selection based on the interview performance. Eligibility Criteria:
Experience:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience practicing medicine in a hospital or clinic.
Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from a recognized university under the allopathic medical system.
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in general medicine are also eligible to apply.
Salary:
- Rs. 1000 per hour during the contractual period.
- Rs. 1000 per month for conveyance expenses.
- Rs. 1000 per month for mobile charges reimbursement.
Other Requirements:
Applicants must reside within 3 to 5 km of the RBI office or have a clinic/dispensary nearby.
Selection Process:
- Candidates will be interviewed to assess their eligibility.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination as per RBI norms, at their own cost.
Tenure:
The initial contract period is for 3 years with no possibility of renewal.
