| Job description | Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and industry standards. Organize, plan, budget, and schedule departmental activities to meet project timelines. Develop and guide standard deliverables for the department. Handle technical issue resolution, including constructability requirements. Collaborate with other departments for integrated project execution. Plan and review manpower and infrastructure requirements. Assess and upgrade subordinates’ skills through training. Review team performance and suggest improvements. Supervise all departmental functions and activities. Ensure compliance with project-specific HSE practices. Approve electrical design philosophy documents, MR, datasheets, TBE, EHV systems, power plants, switchyard, and DG layouts. Deliver projects on time with consistent quality. Coordinate efficiently with internal and external customers. Promote safety in all engineering deliverables. Drive work efficiency and error minimization measures. |
| Experience | 25 years in Basic and Detailed Engineering. Experience across various project sizes; lead for 8–10 medium/large projects |
Qualifications | Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech) |
| Skills | Strong knowledge of discipline-specific basic engineering. Familiarity with IS and IEC codes, material & project specifications. Proficiency in ETAP software (report interpretation). Knowledge of planning, scheduling, and project management. Good communication, presentation, mentoring, and team management skills. Strong problem-solving, innovation, time management, and prioritization skills. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. |
