| Job responsibilities | Ensure reliability and maximize availability of electrical equipment, distribution systems, power electronics, and power systems at the plant. Drive reliability improvement through continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, projects, advanced diagnostics, and online condition monitoring. Monitor and benchmark performance of site electrical equipment. Standardize and implement best practices, group guidelines, and LFIs for reliability enhancement of plant electrical systems. Adhere to HSEF procedures and RIL Group Safety Standards, ensuring safe operations. Participate in reliability and integrity studies for electrical systems. Review and validate Capex/MOC-T proposals; support due diligence for major activities, expansions, modifications, and turnarounds. Lead troubleshooting of critical failures and generate LFIs, alerts, and safety incident reports. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and oversee implementation of corrective actions. Carry out Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and FMEA studies for electrical equipment. Assist in power system and protection studies to ensure system integrity. Review and maintain equipment protection schemes, relay settings, and coordination. Maintain and update power system models (ETAP). Identify and execute energy conservation initiatives. Minimize production losses due to defects, failures, or breakdowns. Manage plant maintenance budgets and optimize resource utilization. Govern asset renewal and obsolescence management in line with group guidelines. Conduct inspections, quality assurance checks, maintenance reviews, and safety audits. Support knowledge management, documentation, and competency development for subordinates. Identify training needs and support skill development initiatives. |

| Experience | Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in plant reliability and maintenance. |
| Skills | Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, energy conservation, and project management Expertise in troubleshooting, RCA, RCM, and FMEA methodologies Understanding of power system operation, maintenance, and protection studies Proficiency in SAP PM/MM modules Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and legislative requirements Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead, develop, and manage engineering teams Competence in managing ambiguity, driving change, and providing strategic direction Cross-functional knowledge and collaboration capabilities. |
