YES BANK’s Digital Banking unit is at the forefront of the digital payment revolution in India, processing nearly one in every three digital transactions (~6 billion monthly). As a leader in UPI, AEPS, IMPS & NEFT products, we continue to innovate and shape the future of payments.We are hiring Product Managers – Payments (UPI) to join our high-impact Product Team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong techno-functional expertise, deep analytical thinking, and hands-on experience with UPI and digital banking ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product design and development, with a deep understanding of customer requirements, technical infrastructure, and operational considerations.
- Apply practical and technical knowledge of UPI systems (including switches, CBS, PSP Apps, merchant solutions, reconciliation processes) to deliver innovative P2P and P2M payment experiences.
- Drive go-to-market strategies and develop product roadmaps aligned with UPI initiatives launched by NPCI.
- Oversee the product lifecycle – planning, execution, and optimization – ensuring alignment with broader product strategies.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, risk, and technology teams to deliver and manage scalable payment solutions.
- Analyze real-time product and transaction data to improve product performance, reduce errors, and optimize user journeys.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Post-graduates from IIM/IIT preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the BFSI or Fintech industry, with at least 2 years focused on UPI product management.
- Sound understanding of UPI ecosystem, APIs, transaction messaging, NPCI frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of evolving UPI offerings such as UPI Lite, UPI Mandates, Credit Line, SBMD, UPI RuPay Credit Card, etc.
