Army ASC Centre Group C Recruitment 2026: The Civilian Direct Recruitment Board, HQ, ASC Centre (South) – 2 ATC has released the official recruitment notification for various Group C civilian posts. The recruitment drive is being conducted for the posts of Fireman, Leading Fireman, Fire Engine Driver and Librarian. A total of 31 vacancies are available under this recruitment.
The official recruitment advertisement was published in the Employment News edition dated 29 August 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through offline mode from 29 August 2026. The last date to submit the completed offline application form is 18 September 2026, which is 21 days from the date of publication of the recruitment notice.

- Leading Fireman: 10th Class Passed and knowledge of firefighting equipment.
- Librarian: 10th Class Passed and proficient in the relevant trade.

Pay Scale Details
- Fireman: Pay Matrix Level-02 — ₹19,900 + DA and other applicable allowances
- Fire Engine Driver: Pay Matrix Level-03 — ₹21,700 + DA and other applicable allowances
- Leading Fireman: Pay Matrix Level-03 — ₹21,700 + DA and other applicable allowances
- Librarian: Pay Matrix Level-04 — ₹25,500 + DA and other applicable allowances

Physical Eligibility Details
- Height: 165 CM (relaxable by 2.5 CM for ST candidates)
- Chest (Un-Expanded): 81.5 CM
- Chest (Expanded): 85 CM
- Minimum Weight: 50 KG
Endurance Test (Skill Test):-
Candidates will be required to complete the following physical tasks:
- Carry a man weighing 65.5 kg (Fireman lift) for a distance of 183 metres within 96 seconds.
- Clear a 2.7-metre-wide ditch and land on both feet during the long jump.
- Climb a 3-metre vertical rope using hands and feet.
