| Role Overview | Lead Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation, migration, upgrade, and support projects while managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications. |
| PLM Platforms | Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, Windchill, and other enterprise PLM systems. |
| Project Management | Lead end-to-end PLM implementation projects and define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. |
| Planning & Budgeting | Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets and track progress against timelines. |
| Project Governance | Manage project governance and steering committee meetings and prepare status reports for leadership and clients. |
| Requirements Management | Gather and document business requirements and conduct workshops with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT teams. |
| Solution Management | Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications and coordinate solution design with PLM architects and consultants. |
| Stakeholder Management | Act as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, manage expectations, and coordinate communication plans. |
| Escalation Management | Facilitate project reviews and manage escalations, issues, and stakeholder concerns. |
| Team Management | Manage cross-functional teams including PLM consultants, developers, architects, testers, and business users. |
| Resource Management | Assign tasks, monitor team utilisation, mentor junior team members, and provide performance feedback. |
| Data Migration | Plan and execute PLM data migration activities. |
| System Integration | Coordinate CAD and ERP integration activities. |
| Process Implementation | Implement workflows and business processes within PLM environments. |
| BOM Management | Deploy Bill of Materials (BOM) and product structure management processes. |
| Change Management | Implement product change management and configuration management processes. |
| Testing & Deployment | Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and hypercare support. |
| Risk Management | Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage project issues and change requests. |
| Quality Management | Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, project KPIs, and delivery metrics. |
| Required PLM Knowledge | Product Structure Management, BOM Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Document Management, and Workflow Management. |
| Education | Any Graduate |
| Ideal Candidate | An experienced PLM project management professional with expertise in enterprise PLM implementations, cross-functional team leadership, stakeholder management, data migration, system integration, and project delivery. |
