Primary ObjectiveConduct financial due diligence, evaluate acquisition targets, identify financial risks and opportunities, and support clients throughout M&A transactions.
Business UnderstandingDevelop a detailed understanding of target companies, business operations, industry drivers, and financial performance.
Financial AnalysisAnalyze financial statements and operational data to identify trends, risks, anomalies, and key business issues.
Data ValidationAssess the accuracy and reasonableness of financial data and coordinate with clients and third parties to resolve discrepancies.
Research & EvaluationInterpret and analyze publicly available information about target businesses and industries.
DeliverablesPrepare high-quality financial due diligence reports, Excel models, PowerPoint presentations, and transaction documentation within project timelines.
Issue IdentificationIdentify critical financial, operational, and commercial issues and communicate findings to engagement managers and leadership.
Transaction ExposureWork on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions across multiple industries.
Client ManagementBuild credibility with clients, target companies, and stakeholders while representing Deloitte during engagements.
Business DevelopmentSupport proposal preparation, client pitches, and business development initiatives.
Accounting StandardsStrong knowledge of Indian GAAP; IFRS knowledge is an added advantage.
