| Role Overview | Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions based on business and functional requirements. |
| Key Responsibilities | Develop and enhance RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows. |
| Reporting & Development | Develop Classical, Interactive, and ALV reports; perform debugging, code correction, root-cause analysis, and performance optimisation. |
| Integration | Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, Proxy Interfaces, and file-based integration. |
| Enhancements | Implement BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, Enhancement Spots, and other Enhancement Framework techniques. |
| Forms | Develop and maintain Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms. |
| Data Migration | Support migration and conversion programs using BDC, LSMW, BAPIs, and custom programs. |
| Testing | Conduct technical unit testing, support system integration testing, and resolve defects. |
| Code Quality | Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with SAP development standards and project guidelines. |
| SAP Environment | Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments and SAP development lifecycle processes. |
| Modern SAP Skills | Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, SAP Gateway, ABAP Development Tools (Eclipse), SAP Fiori integration, and Clean-Core principles. |
| Workflow Experience | Experience with SAP Workflows and Flexible Workflows. |
| Project Experience | Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, enhancement, or production-support projects. |
| Industry Advantage | Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Medical Device industries is an added advantage. |
| Compliance Knowledge | Understanding of validated systems, regulatory requirements, or GxP-compliant environments is desirable. |
| Soft Skills | Ability to work independently, manage multiple deliverables, mentor junior team members, and coordinate with onsite/offshore stakeholders. |
| Education | Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. |
| Certification | SAP ABAP certification is preferred but not mandatory. |
| Ideal Candidate | Experienced SAP ABAP professional with strong RICEFW, S/4HANA, integration, enhancement, debugging, and modern SAP development expertise. |
