Job Description:
As an SAP IS Retail Consultant at Infosys, you will be a key member of the consulting team, playing a pivotal role in diagnosing business challenges, designing innovative SAP-based solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation. You will work closely with clients, leading solution design, configuration, integration, and rollout activities to enhance their retail operations. Your expertise in SAP IS Retail will drive the digital transformation of businesses, helping them optimize processes and achieve their strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement & Solution Consulting:
- Act as a trusted advisor, identifying key business challenges and designing SAP IS Retail solutions.
- Engage with clients to understand business requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure smooth deployment.
- Develop proposals by contributing to solution design and documenting key aspects of the proposal.
- Conduct solution demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC), and Proof of Technology workshops for clients.
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with customer budgetary constraints and Infosys’ financial guidelines.
2. SAP IS Retail Implementation & Configuration:
- Plan and execute SAP IS Retail configuration based on the solution design.
- Conduct conference room pilots (CRP) to validate system functionality.
- Assist in resolving queries related to SAP IS Retail requirements and system configurations.
- Perform end-to-end SAP Retail design, implementation, and rollout activities.
- Ensure integration with Point-of-Sale (POS) and e-Commerce platforms for seamless omnichannel retail operations.
3. Functional Expertise & Technical Knowledge:
1.Work extensively on SAP IS Retail S/4HANA Fashion implementation projects.
2. Configure and optimize key SAP Retail functionalities, including:
- Materials Management (MM) & Sales and Distribution (SD) processes
- Available-to-Promise (ATP) & Advanced ATP (AATP) configuration
- Promotion Management & Analysis
- Automated Store Replenishment (SAR)
- Merchandising, Assortment & Listing Management
- Drop Shipping, Ship from Store & 3PL Logistics Integration
3. Define, develop, and maintain architectural blueprints for SAP IS Retail solutions.
4. Project Leadership & Team Collaboration:
- Lead small-scale projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to ensure project success.
Technical & Professional Requirements:
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with SAP IS Retail solutions.
- Strong SAP Retail design and implementation experience, with multiple full-cycle implementations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Fashion & Retail solutions.
- Knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.
- Experience with POS and e-Commerce system integrations.
- Ability to document and maintain SAP architectural blueprints.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in SAP Retail industry solutions.
- Experience in software configuration management systems.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging retail technologies.
- Exposure to financial processes, pricing models, and project cost assessment.
- Knowledge of at least one or two retail industry domains.
