NVS Class 6 Admission 2027-28: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released the official notification for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2027 for admission to Class 6 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) for the 2027-28 academic session. The JNVST 2027 notification was issued on 7 July 2026. The online application process started on 7 July 2026 and will continue until 7 August 2026.
Students who are studying in Class 5 during the 2026-27 academic session and meet the eligibility criteria can apply online. The JNVST 2027 entrance examination is scheduled to be held on 28 November 2026. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are fully residential, co-educational schools that provide free education along with boarding, lodging, textbooks, uniforms, and other essential facilities to selected students. Admission to these schools is granted through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST), which is conducted across the country.
