NTA UGC NET June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2026 answer key and candidate response sheets for the examination conducted under the UGC NET June 2026 notification. The exam was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various centres across the country from June 22 to June 30, 2026, with a retest conducted on July 5, 2026. The provisional answer key, question paper and recorded responses were initially released on August 16, 2026, allowing candidates to check their answers and raise objections within the specified challenge period. The UGC NET June 2026 Final Answer Key has now been released on August 28, 2026.
Candidates can use the final answer key and their response sheets to evaluate their performance and estimate their expected scores. The examination is conducted to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor, and Ph.D. admissions.

NTA UGC NET June 2026 Selection Process
The result will be prepared on the basis of combined performance in both papers. Candidates will be placed in the following categories:
- JRF + Assistant Professor
- Assistant Professor + PhD Admission
- PhD Admission Only
For PhD admission, the UGC NET score will have 70% weightage, while the interview will carry 30% weightage.
