RRC WR Sports Quota Recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway (RRC WR), has released the recruitment notification for various Group C and erstwhile Group D posts under the Sports Quota for the year 2026-27. The recruitment has been announced through Employment Notice No. RRC/WR/01/2026 (Sports Quota) for a total of 64 vacancies across different sports disciplines. - Candidates who appear in the sports trials will receive a refund of the application fee as per the applicable rules:
- General / OBC: ₹400/- will be refunded.
- SC / ST / EBC / Minorities / Female Candidates: ₹250/- (full application fee) will be refunded after appearing in the trials.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Age will be calculated as on: 1 January 2027
- Date of Birth: Candidates should be born between 1 January 2002 and 1 January 2009.
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per the prescribed rules.

- Medical Examination
Post-Wise Educational Qualification
- Level 5/4 Posts: Graduation in any stream along with the required sports certificate.
- Level 3/2 Posts: 12th Class passed or 10th Class passed with ITI, along with the required sports certificate.
- Level 1 Posts: 10th Class passed along with the required sports certificate.
- Important Note: Only sports achievements obtained on or after 1 April 2024 will be considered for this recruitment.
