Job PurposeLearn and gain experience in the safe operation of plant equipment and processes while adhering to safety procedures, work permit systems, and operational excellence standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and operate field equipment using SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklists, and ODR devices; Perform condition monitoring and minor troubleshooting; Coordinate with shift superintendent and panel executive; Collect field samples for laboratory testing; Maintain equipment logs and operational records; Identify and implement safety improvements; Handle hazardous materials and plant waste safely; Support contract workers in safe work practices; Act as first responder during emergencies; Report and investigate safety concerns; Coordinate with field engineers, contractors, and safety teams; Sign and verify work permits; Ensure permit compliance; Drive continuous improvement in operations and safety practices; Stay updated with safety standards and quality methodologies (TQM, EFQM, QCC, 5S).
Required Technical SkillsPlant Operations, Equipment Monitoring, Preventive Maintenance, SOP/SOC Compliance, Condition Monitoring, Minor Mechanical Troubleshooting, Permit-to-Work System, Laboratory Sampling, ODR Devices, Hazard Identification.
