Reliance New Job: Apply for the Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute instrumentation maintenance tasks related to DCS, PLC, analyzers, and field instrumentation with high-quality standards.
  • Review maintenance activities and prioritize critical jobs.
  • Perform scheduled and condition-based maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support and facilitate minor instrumentation-related projects.
  • Adhere to HSEF compliance requirements, including RESOP, MIQA, CFA, and DOSHE mandatory training.
  • Assist the manager in managing spares inventory, ensuring stock levels, and issuing spares for job execution.
  • Support procurement processes, follow up with vendors, and coordinate with purchase and stores departments.
  • Assist in shutdown planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Conduct risk assessments and follow all safety norms for routine and shutdown jobs.
  • Prepare audit-related documents for managerial review.
  • Participate in reliability and integrity studies as identified.Manage obsolescence of instrumentation equipment.
  • Collect and analyze performance data for monitoring and reporting.Implement recommendations for process improvement.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.Conduct regular LLF (Look, Listen, Feel) visits in the plant to identify potential failures.
  • Maintain maintenance history and records.Prepare weekly maintenance KPIs for instrumentation.
  • Maintain IMS (Integrated Management System) documents for instrumentation maintenance.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to subordinates.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Self-initiative and proactive approachGood interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant industrial experience with a strong technical background
  • Domain knowledge of instrumentation engineering
  • Familiarity with various codes and standards in instrumentation
